Solo Guitar Lessons App Reviews

Perhaps this particular app wasnt designed for fledglings who have just picked up the instrument for the first time (they should direct their attention to the Beginners Guitar Lessons app), but it is a terrific app for that middle-of-the-road types who really want to expand their knowledge and capabilities with then guitar. I think even the most advanced players wouldnt mind at least brushing up on some of the lessons youll find here. And to top it off, its bloody FREE!

This is not for beginners so if you are looking for an app that teaches you how to play the guitar download beginner guitar it helps a lot

There are many beginner apps out there but not many like this one for "middle-of-the-road players" as another reviewer put it. Love it. Thanks man!

Great app and easy to follow! Highly recommend this to anyone whos familiar with their guitar but in need of some skills to really rock. Good stuff!

I didnt know any scales until this app. It is good for teaching some of the basics to soloing. He is able to go slow and explain it good enough to understand quickly. My issue was he expects the viewer to know a few things, like a certain scale that I had not seen before. He does this in the first lesson video. My next issue is randomly in the lesson he goes off doing his own solo. Im trying to follow his fingers trying to learn the scale, and then I loose it when he suddenly shoots off into a completely different solo.

I love Marty. Hes like hes right here with me. He is an amazing teacher. Must have for ANY guitarist!!

I play guitar. I downloaded this app for iPad. Some lessons here and there... Then the 900 free lessons. They arent really free, only for 3 days. And you cant really view these on this app itself....... I know hes trying to make sales.... But I feel deceived and feel too much that hes just trying to REALLY sell something! :(

Good but its geared for people that have experienced the guitar before. So I will download their beginners one thanks!

This app stinks it creeps on freezing

So I am an outstanding guitarist nd I would like to help you all understand that all of the songs for each lesson are not the way the bands guitarist plays them, these lessons are the easier way to play sick licks but not correctly.

Everytime i go to load it crashes. It wont even open up. A waste of time.

Cant learn guitar by visuals...streaming nor downloading does not fix it. What a bummer

Are the developers paying attention to the reviews? The videos download and play, but their is no audio (sound.) My other audio apps work, but not this one. Boo.

This is a well made app that has videos for each lesson. Covers blues very well. Would like to see other styles.

It is NOT for beginners and its like he is showing off to u in the videos. It taught me only one thing. Wish it was for beginners. Please make one for beginners :)

It doesnt matter if ur a begginer because u can split the vids into secton u memorize a peice get it down memorize next peice play piece 1 & 2 then so on
