Solo Guitar Lessons app good for
You rock marty my favorit song you teats me is smoke on the water
First day I got this app, I couldnt play the guitar, I got to know the first notes and got comfortable with it! Second day I finished all simple chords then started watching simple tunes and incredibly easy it was! Thanks for a great lesson I really enjoyed it and now I can play the guitar and so could other people who really tries!!!
Some bad moments
Bad and embarrasing attempt at guitar playing, ugly sound, very amateurish and basic, even misleading and wrong instructions. This guy doesnt have a clue what guitar playing is about, he is just stupidly immitating stuff and thinks he is so cool. Dont waste your time on this BS, rather listen to great guitar players and use your ears and your heart. Analyze harmony, scales and relations, learn to understand why a certain note is played over a certain chord. That is the only way.
This stupid app teaches mindles fingering patterns without knowing what is actually happening and by doing so it is completely misleading people who truly want to learn and understand the guitar. This app is for fakers but not for guitar players.
Great lessons!! This is perfect for any guitarist looking to advance. Great job Marty!
pretty sure u have to have wifi to watch videos but you can also download them so you wont have to have a wifi connection to watch them at a later time. i love martys lessons, and this is definitely worth the free dl. thanks marty!
Im glad it was free because the videos dont play and I would bet that when everything works they will start charging for it! A waste of space on my iPhone!
This guy is personally responsible for helping me learn the next direction on guitar. Hes great at teaching and this app certainly helps with that. The app needs some work but its a start with some great things. Thanks a lot!
The description claims this app will teach you to play even if you have never touched a guitar before. Is is untrue. The very first lesson starts by throwing around jargon, and even explicitly states that it will not teach you how to do the basic -- "hopefully you have that already." Very disappointing for a beginner. Might be OK for more experienced guitarists though.
